NRC - Nieuws en achtergronden 10.9.1

The free NRC app offers the latest news, background information, interviews, and of course, the digital version of the print newspaper. Additionally, you'll find podcasts, columns, and puzzles. You can also customize your own news bundle and stay up-to-date on your favorite topics.

In the "news" tab, you'll find out what's happening - the most important news is always at the top. If you come across something you want to share, it's easy to do so with the share button. If you want to be immediately informed about urgent news, you can set up push notifications.

If you want to save an article to read later, you can add it to your personal reading list. This can be done from both the digital newspaper and the "news" tab. Your reading list will be synchronized across all devices where you're logged in.

You can follow topics at NRC to create a personalized news overview. Suitable topics to follow are suggested at the bottom of each article. For example, American politics or artificial intelligence. You'll also find other news themes, columnists, and sections in the app. By following a number of topics, a personal bundle of stories will be created in the "My News" section. You can also set up push notifications for your chosen topics.

Prefer listening to articles? All of our articles are available as audio in the app. Our journalism is narrated by voices based on two of our editors' vocal qualities.

Rather listen to a podcast? NRC offers its own podcasts on various current topics, as well as series on culture, crime, and history. Or listen to one of our podcast editors' recommendations.

The latest newspaper is available in the app every day at 11:00 PM. After downloading the newspaper, you can read it offline. New users get the first newspaper for free. Non-subscribers can purchase individual newspapers within the app. NRC subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to the digital newspaper.
